Haven’t been posting much recently (as one can see) so I decided to write a post now. Basically I thought I would talk about how this website is so rubbish, it’s only got one proper article and that is of a device which has long been assigned to the past. Hopefully I’ll be able to get my act together to do few more proper articles at some point in the not-so-near future, but don’t bargain on it.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting my site, as I understand it must be quite an unpleasant experience. Nevertheless, hopefully you have learnt something from witnessing my creation (“Not all websites are worth visiting” for example). It’s not even free for myself to maintain now, since I upgraded from the dodgy free xtreemhost host to one that costs around £23 annually. So I now have to personally justify this site’s existence. Which is not an easy task.
I’ve been thinking of in what direction I will take this site in the future, but haven’t got very far. Although I would like to write a few reviews of recent films, I doubt I would be very good at that, and I don’t find writing about smartphones as alluring as I once did (specifically, when I started writing about my N1, which, by the way, you may be pleased to hear was sold on eBay for a fair sum, while myself has moved onto one of it’s successors, the Galaxy Nexus, which is really rather good).
Then what else could I re-purpose this site for? Maybe I could use it as a personal diary, documenting the events of my life. But it is unlikely that this would have much appeal to the wider world, or more specifically, anyone other than my good self. And ultimately, writing something which no-one will want to read seems rather pointless. So, I’m at a bit of a dead-end. But the hope is that I will soon become enlightened as to what I could contribute to this site, especially as it currently lingers persistently in my subconscious, and that on such occasion, you the reader will either be pleasantly surprised with my new creative efforts, or possibly disappointed. Or most probably, neither.
Feel free to stay as long as you want.
